Hello beautiful people. I know…it’s been a while since i last wrote on any of my posts other than the outfit details. Life has been busy and I have just been rolling with it. Mostly enough time for post but never enough to type up anything else.
Now I’m working toward improving on it, I will be sharing my latest style finds, favorite brands, current obsessions and many more so watch the space. ):
Back to today’s post, I know wearing suits can be a little daunting sometimes, especially for women. From cooperate meetings, to job interviews or just the required attire for day to day work, we all have to wear suits at one point and always want to get it right. Only getting it right sometimes means lots of money but do we truly need to spend a fortune on just a pair of suit?
Looking good in suit has nothing to with how much money you spent on it, you need to be familiar with your body shape and personal style. A major part of wearing a suit depends on what you are pairing it with. Shirts, blouses, camisoles, t-shirt…the list goes on. Always make the effort to do a try on prior to your event or occasion or better still, ask a friend for their opinion.
Some blazers (available here and here) do go well with buttoned up shirts while others (see here, here and here) pair better with vests or t-shirts. These can all be tucked or left hanging out depending on how fully formal or casual you want to look. Short blazers are better with the shirts or blouses tucked as leaving them hanging will give a less desirable look. My preference is the long-line blazers as I find them more stylish and a little more versatile. I will talk more about these on later posts.
See full details of today’s look above and thanks so much for reading. Looking forward to seeing you guys next week.
Have a wonderful weekend.
